One of the great things about Portland is the easy and fast blue line!  This MAX light rail line is clean and has plenty of trains (so you don't spend a long time waiting!).  The blue line train travels from Hillsboro through downtown Portland to Gresham.  Getting to the airport is also easy.  Many nice condos are within three blocks of this train line.

Downtown Portland - So much to do!

Washington Park - miles of good hiking trails and great views.  My family hikes in this park and enjoys it. 

The Zoo - Washington Park stop.  This is one fun zoo.  I especially like the Aviary, they give out little cups of juice.  The tropical birds land on you and sip at the juice.

The Children's Museum - Washington Park stop.  Great spot to play with your young children or grandchildren.  Very hands on with art, bubbles and clay.
